VOA is back in action

Hi all. After a very long hiatus, I’m happy to say that VOA is back in action.

Many of the gear lists are outdated, so I’ll be working through them one by one to get them up to date so you all can have the most complete list of vegan gear out there!

That being said, what are you looking for? What are you loving? Let me know!

  1. Im looking for a Vegan hiking booth – women’s for good long hikes and scrambles.
The ones you suggested are no longer available.. any new ones to suggest?

    1. Hi Lisa, my apologies on the out of date content and the delay in replying. I just updated the vegan hiking boots page the other day. >> https://veganoutdooradventures.com/vegan-hiking-boots/ Did you end up finding new boots?

Sadly, the boots I wear (Merrell Capra) are not longer being made or I would recommend those for sure. But I know people who use the TrekSta Evolutions and the Altra Lone Peaks and I’ve heard great things about both of them.

      All the best,

    1. Hi Wendy! So good to hear from you! Well, I had good intentions, but updates didn’t actually happen… until now! šŸ™‚ I’m looking forward to getting back into it and getting this site back to where it needs to be. Hope you’re well! ~Jessica

  2. I am currently looking for boots that are appropriate for snowshoeing. My current boots are on their final winter. Probably going to be looking for some hiking boots also. I will need hiking boots that are good for 1-3 day hike with serious elevation gain.
What a great resource. So glad I ran across it. Keep up the great work. I will be sharing this with everyone I know.
